Job Title: Chief of Staff to President/COO

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: U.S. Remote, Pacific time zone strongly preferred

About The Role

We are looking for a passionate individual to be the Chief of Staff to our President/Chief Operating Officer (COO), who is based on the West Coast (Pacific Time Zone work hours). This role will be part of a transformational team, assisting the President/COO in delivering results and servicing our clients across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America as well as managing global operations. You’ll be part of a team executing our mission to provide the foundation of trust and safety for clients in industries such as Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Services, Consumer Gig, Technology, and Industrials. We are looking for someone to support the President/COO by leading strategic projects, championing employee engagement, and helping us plan and execute. We need someone who is obsessed with follow through, gets things done, works effectively across the organization, and focuses on simplification. This is a dynamic and scalable role that serves as a trusted go-to resource for our President/COO and his Leadership Team. This position reports directly to the President/COO, providing organizational and strategic support.

This Is What You'll Do

Accountable for strategic calendar management including the operating rhythm to ensure prioritization and preparedness: pre-meeting briefs and agendas and follow-up tracking.Act as Program Manager for President & COO activities such as thought leadership, employee engagement, and client interactions.Develop relationships with key stakeholders across Sterling, specifically People & Culture and Finance to ensure a straightforward and consistent operating rhythm around talent management and budget management.Facilitate employee engagement activities that promote an inclusive team culture.Draft talking points, meeting briefs, communications, and presentations for the President & COO for client meetings, internal/external events, Board presentations, and team meetings. Provide strategic oversight for scheduling of client meetings and events (company or external) to ensure supporting materials are prepared in advance to support President & COO engagement. Support the President & COO in key decisions through research, analysis, and clear presentation of facts and considerations.Represent the President & COO when they are not available, providing a bridge for communication between the President & COO and key stakeholders including their direct reports.Orchestrate effective team meetings with agility and impact, with a focus on identifying and closing out action items and follow ups. Partner with President & COO organization for annual planning including goal setting and tracking of key performance indicators. Support President in budgeting and partner with finance on forecast, actuals, and P&L.

Would require flexibility in hours available for work based on fulfilling business needs.5+ years of business experience, leading cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environmentEducation: undergraduate degree (MBA is a plus)

The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible to participate in the Annual Incentive bonus plan. A full range of benefits including but not limited to medical, financial, unlimited sick time, 22 days’ vacation annually (for FT workers; prorated 1st year of employment), parental leave and other benefits are also provided.
