Overview:The Chief of Staff to the President and CEO of Optum Pacific West plays a critical role in developing, driving and implementing the strategy for the Pacific West region, which includes Optum’s care delivery organizations across California, Oregon and Washington.

The Chief of Staff’s primary role is to create capacity for the President by facilitating a wide array of strategic and operational projects/decisions that reside in the President’s lane, acting on the President’s behalf to drive business initiatives forward across teams and the enterprise.

This is a fast-paced, exciting role with the opportunity to drive significant impact across the largest Care region within Optum and the largest value-based care delivery system in the country overall.

Minimum qualifications:MBA from a top-tier business school5 years of (strategy) consulting experience with a top-tier firm or related experienceRelevant experience in healthcare is a strong plus but not requiredStrong project management skillsAble to move quickly in an ever-changing environment without supervisionMust demonstrate strategic thinking as well as a willingness to lead initiatives through implementationExcellent communication skills including ability to create and persuasively and efficiently deliver presentations to senior executivesAbility to build strong relationships across cross-functional local and national teamsWillingness to travel 10% of the time, depending on the portfolio of projects
