Spark’s mission is to democratize access to trusted, expert advice for navigating post-retirement life. To do so, we’re building the operating system top independent advisors use to reach and advise clients at scale. We're beginning with Medicare enrollments, a $30Bn market full of bad incentives and outdated processes.

We’ve launched with our first cohort of advisors reaching thousands of clients, and we will more than 10x our platform in the coming months. We’re backed by venture investors and founders behind some of the leading digital health, consumer, and insurtech companies of the past decade.

As Chief of Staff, you will work as the right hand of our CEO to scale our Agent Platform and concierge Membership model to hundreds of agents and tens of thousands of retirees across the country. This is an execution focused Chief of Staff role. You will turn our strategy to reality by conceptualizing strategic projects in the places of maximum leverage across our entire business, then owning them through completion.

This is a demanding but rewarding opportunity that exposes you to all the different facets of our business and will prepare you to be a functional leader at Spark or a founder yourself down the road. You will own strategic projects across our functional areas, working closely with our functional team leads and the CEO to quickly implement and execute against our vision. 

Some of the projects you might dig in to - Agent Sales: Develop, test, and iterate our various growth & go-to-market channels; develop Spark's brand among agents as a tech-forward, service-first agency; build sales ops, processes, and reporting to support our agent-facing sales teams. - Agent Services: Operationalize our agent onboarding processes to minimize our agent onboarding time and drop-off rate while delivering a world-class agent experience - Compliance: Build processes and reporting to ensure Spark meets our growing compliance requirements as we enter our hyper-growth phase. - Member Services: Review call scripts and recordings from our Navigator team and identify and implement new support areas in the retirement journey - Finance & Reporting: Create dashboards and reporting processes for our internal teams, agent partners, and investors - Raise your hand to own ad hoc projects as they arise!

What you'll need - Excitement about innovating in the Medicare market with operational excellence and becoming a deep subject matter expert in healthcare and retirement - Service-minded orientation and ability to empathize with our various team members and stakeholders - Proven success taking projects from conception to execution - Exceptional organizational skills and can keep everyone on track and on target - Strong research, writing and oral communication skills - Comfort with context switching and operating under uncertainty
