The Opportunity

This role is the Chief of Staff to the Chief Product Officer, owning and supporting a broad range of activities and projects that will help transform us into a world-class product organization. This includes quarterbacking and leading initiatives that aid in our overall transformation, evolving our talent model, supporting internal and external speaking events, helping develop our internal brand and product culture, facilitating divisional &amp leadership team routines (All Hands, Offsites, etc.) and more. This role will be a close thought partner to the Chief Product Officer and will have a seat the table with other Product leaders in the organization to drive strategy. This role also includes being a thought leader in the Chief of Staff community at SVB.



  • Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience supporting Executive Leadership with a demonstrated track record as a Chief of Staff, Head of Operations or Enablement Manager
  • Proven ability managing complex programs to drive results across a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated People and Talent Operations background
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, and listening abilities) with acumen to shape clear, compelling messaging
  • Critical thinking, sound judgment and a high level of discretion
  • Strong negotiation skills
