The Chief of Staff to the Chief Product Officer is responsible for enabling the CPO and improving the quality and productivity of product development at Hinge by for creating, managing, and optimizing Product’s systems and ways of working.
The CoS is an integral member of Hinge’s Product Leadership Team and will be responsible for planning and delivering exceptional operational, administrative, and communications tasks driven by and in support of the office of the CPO.
This role owns the operational success of the Product Department and must work with the CPO to identify, prioritize, and address enablement and collaboration opportunities for the Product Department.
Lead weekly Product Leadership Team meetings and occasional offsites/onsites by setting agendas, facilitating meetings, and owning follow-ups and distribution of all materials
Build, implement, and maintain processes that increase the quality and efficiency of Hinge’s product development and delivery across the PDLC
Provide administrative support to the Chief Product Officer and their leadership team including owning and optimizing their calendaring, managing business expenses, and coordinating travel from time to time
Own and draft all of the CPO’s communications including briefs, Google Slides decks, intranet pages, office hours, and talking points and learn to write in the CPO’s voice to deliver authentic org-facing communications
Lead special projects/initiatives and take ownership of emerging initiatives, leading projects or assigning and designating ownership as appropriate
Manage the development and evolution of product OKRs/KPIs including monitoring & reporting within the Product org and to external stakeholders
Create feedback loops with other teams and work with stakeholders to close loops, improve communication, and create visibility
What We're Looking For
2-4 years of work experience, preferably in executive support, program management, business operations, or product operations
Successful in ambiguous/low-management environments (i.e. previous exec support, start-ups, new teams)
Strong first-principles and systems thinking demonstrated in the autonomous creation of frameworks, processes, and systems
Highly motivated by and oriented around excellence
Exceptional communicator: concise, tone-sensitive, clear with experience owning highly-visible communications
Past experience and confidence challenging/advising leaders
Product or product-adjacent experience would be a plus!
$128,000 - $154,000 a year
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
