Job Description

Job Summary

The Chief of Staff role will report to Chief Commercial Officer Catalyst GBU, working with members of the Catalyst Leadership Team to drive processes and conduct analyses that further the Catalyst GBU strategic plans and improve performance. This individual will engage with the Catalyst Commercial Leadership team and partners across the corporate functions and to support strategic planning, develop Board material, curate competitive intelligence content, and contribute to deep dives or special projects and initiatives.

Serves as a trusted advisor and brainstorming partner to the Chief Commercial Officer Catalyst GBU and Catalyst Leadership Team on the business’ competitive position, long-term strategy and shorter-term tactics to improve performance. Help lead and initiate change throughout the organization, helps strategic ideas take root and provide early facilitation until a formal project is established. Supports and provides consulting engagements resulting in the development of strategic recommendations. Influences business investments consistent with the Company’s Corporate Strategy. Partners with leadership team define, prepare and communicate organization plans, including quarterly, annual and 5 year long term strategy, staffing and development plans. Work product is often shared with the Board of Directors, regulators, and other important stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the business analysis and strategy disciplines.
  • Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines.
  • Ability to build consensus through communication and presentation of factual and relevant information.
  • Ability to think independently and to interpret financial and non-financial information to identify opportunities to improve the business.
  • Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience managing projects or project workstreams.
  • Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate the Company and its competitors in the market.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.

Preferred Requirements

  • Master's degree or MBA and 10 years of related experience.
