Responsibilities
- This individual maintains a pulse on the organization, surfaces critical information in a timely manner, helps the Executive Team make and execute key decisions, and streamlines the CEO’s strategy
- They work cross-functionally to find and solve problems, bringing together multiple departments to help drive decisions and ensure inter-organizational alignment by communicating objectives between departments
- The day-to-day responsibilities are dynamic and will vary greatly based on the candidate & the business needs at the time
- Drives alignment across the organization by owning the all processes and ensuring prioritization is effective and managed according to the company Objectives
- Manages Key Results with the business leaders so that they are measurable, suitable and contribute directly to the Objectives
- Helps the leadership team attract exceptional talent and assist with the development of each individual and team for the betterment of the overall organization
- Develops a communications system in line with the team to ensure asynchronous communications within the organization are reduced and synchronous communications are transitioned to a single operating platform
- Collaborates with the CEO’s executive assistant to ensure efficient scheduling and preparation of Real Estate Contracts and client management
- Assists with the organization of executive team meetings and agenda and action item management
- Act as advisor and “right-hand” to the CEO on all aspects of corporate strategy
- Identify problems and handle them autonomously on the appropriate level before reporting to the CEO to operate as a “buffer”
- Ensure proper time management for the CEO to be effective and efficient while ensuring CEO’s accountability:
- Manage the flow of communication both to and from the CEO, monitoring numerous platforms to ensure critical information is prioritized
- Prepare updates, business reviews, and action plans with executive leaders and oversee their implementation
- Manage and track achievement of company goals; identify potentially disruptive opportunities and challenges on the horizon; leverage data to analyze success
Qualifications
- You will possess strong project management, communication, and leadership skills as well as an excellent ability to communicate at the executive level
- 5+ years of work experience in a business or executive management role / advisor to a CEO
- 10-12 years of work experience in a high growth, rapidly changing environment with a proven track record of success
- Strong program and / or project management skills to drive multiple initiatives in an environment with limited supervision
- Experience navigating complex / matrixed business organizations and negotiating optimal solutions across cross-functional teams
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving and organizational skills as well as adaptability, flexibility, cross-cultural awareness and resourcefulness with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Analytic (data analysis skills), strategic, and creative thinker with entrepreneurial drive
- Clear and effective communicator via keyboard and in-person
- High integrity, trusted advisor
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and outlook
Location
The primary location will be based out of our office in West Hollywood.
