Job Description:

Precision Air Heating & Cooling is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Chief of Staff for a two-year, full-time role designed to accelerate the growth of our HVAC business and prepare the company for long-term scale. You will work directly with the owners and senior leadership to execute high-impact projects, streamline operations, and help run the business from the inside out.

This is a hands-on role with clear exposure to all aspects of small business operations — ideal for someone with ambitions to run, buy, or invest in small businesses in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Operations & Performance

  • Drive weekly operational cadences, leadership meetings, and action tracking
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs across all business units (service, install, sales, memberships, CSR, etc.)
  • Build and manage dashboards, department scorecards, and internal performance reports to drive accountability

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Lead and execute high-leverage projects — evaluating new acquisitions, expanding into new territories, revamping vendor relationships, or improving hiring and onboarding systems
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure timely and aligned execution of company priorities

Process Improvement

  • Work with each department to map current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements
  • Standardize SOPs across the organization to drive operational consistency and elevate the customer experience
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and frontline enablement

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2–5 years of experience in operations, consulting, investment banking, or finance
  • Highly organized, analytical, and proactive — thrives with autonomy and accountability
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong ability to both see the “big picture” and willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute
  • Passion for small business and entrepreneurship

Compensation & Commitment:

  • 2-year full-time employment contract
