About The Role
We are seeking a strategic, mission-driven and skilled professional to join the core team as Chief of Staff to the CEO. Our Chief of Staff will report directly to the CEO and act as her right-hand partner to enable the success of the team, the business, and the culture of Hopscotch Health. As a member of the leadership team, the Chief of Staff will support, and in some cases own, key strategic responsibilities and initiatives in the organization and will also help drive the management process, culture and board engagement that enables our success and accelerates our ability to achieve our mission and vision.
This is a rare opportunity to drive, support and impact the most critical work in a high-growth company including, but not limited to:
Buildout of and execution against the strategic and operational roadmap via a robust management process Enablement and engagement of the senior leadership team and organization, including market and clinical team members Investment in team and culture Engagement with external stakeholders, including the board, strategic partners and potential investors
What You'll Do
In partnership with the CEO and senior leadership team:
Codify and support a robust management process (goals, KPIs, meetings, engagement) to support the growth and success of the business and team. Ensure robust processes and documentation are in place, supporting strong infrastructure and foundation to enable growth and execution that is effective and efficient. Oversee critical projects and initiatives based on the needs of the team and business within Hopscotch, working across senior leadership, broader teams in the organization and other parties to scope, implement and drive results across projects and initiatives. Support engagement of the board, in formal and informal ways, including meeting preparation and execution, 1:1 engagement of board members and engagement across the senior leadership team. Support high profile strategic relationships and partnerships that will enable the success of the company and team. Support the strategy and execution against key culture priorities to make Hopscotch Health a best-in-class company to work for, measured by ability to recruit/engage/retain top talent and management of on-boarding, development/performance management and DE&I. Support the communication strategy and development of materials for key strategic topics and items, both written and verbal for internal and external use. This may include support of fundraising strategy and engagement. Serve as a proxy and liaison for the CEO and senior leadership team, internally and externally, to help drive critical priorities for the business and culture.
You’ll be a great fit for this position if you have 7-9+ years of combined experience in strategic consulting or financial services AND operational experience in a healthcare company (ideally a high- growth setting focused on execution). You also have a proven track record demonstrating:
Strength in execution, a drive for results and a commitment to excellence and follow-through using robust organizational skills, program management, collaboration and communication Articulate and succinct communication, including complex concepts, verbally and in writing, and use synthesized communications to drive execution and results. High EQ and a collaborative and trust-driven working style to quickly build relationships, internally and externally, to enable our work and culture. Executive presence and organization to support a team of senior leaders (including C-suite and BOD level) to ultimately achieve success, growth and results against mission and vision. Strategic thinking, including the ability to develop robust insights from various sources,grounded in data and objective analysis, with the ability to make concrete recommendationsand outline clear action steps to enable results. Comfort with dynamic and sometimes ambiguous settings, showing the skill to bring astructured, proactive approach to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to learn quickly and leverage critical thinking and perseverance to take initiatives, solve problems, operate with autonomy and succeed in high-pressure situations.
