Hue is seeking a leader to support the CEO in achieving organizational goals to continue to deliver and grow our impact in a sustainable way. This is an operational and executional role, not an administrative one. The ideal candidate is a builder – an entrepreneurial leader, with exceptional communication skills, systems thinking, a strong problem-solving and organizational approach, and a track record of success in similar roles. The goal is for the person in this role to grow to eventually take on further responsibility for leadership at the organization. This role is based in New York and includes remote work.


  • Support the CEO toward streamlined operations and organization growth in line with the mission and vision
  • Serve as primary point of connectivity across functional areas, such as strategic planning, products and programs, finance, resources, and administration
  • Engage diverse stakeholders in service of the organization’s mission, inclusive of staff, contractors, and external organizations, including current and prospective partners
  • Ensure fiscally responsible financial and resource management, reporting to and aligning with the CEO on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and execute operational plans and programs to achieve growth goals
  • Strengthen existing relationships with external stakeholders and support outreach toward new partnerships and relationships
  • Develop, implement, and improve systems for budgeting, tracking and measurement, and financial and resource management, inclusive of technology to support streamlined operations
  • Ensure data-informed, consistent and cohesive communication with the CEO in partnership toward achieving organizational goals
  • Support recruitment and development of best-in-class team


  • Passion for the vision and mission of Hue
  • Minimum 6 years of full-time-equivalent work experience (both contracted and employee experience is applicable)
  • Prior experience in roles such as product management, operations, customer success, marketing operations, business development or sales operations, or similar
  • Successful track record of collaborating and building relationships with diverse stakeholders across levels (including executive management), functions, and backgrounds within a fast-paced environment
  • Community-focused team player with positive energy, problem-solving mindset and optimistic approach
  • Comfort with navigating ambiguity and achieving progress with autonomy
  • Self awareness and adaptability
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and sense of accountability
  • Experience initiating, managing, and optimizing projects from start to completion
  • Familiarity with tech, marketing, communications, advertising, or design fields
  • Experience with tech as a tool to drive internal and external efficiency (such as Google Workspace, Asana, CMS, and other systems)


  • Expected annualized salary range 80-90k + Bonus
