Responsibilities

This is a full-time role for a Chief of Staff at Safeguards AI located in Brooklyn, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. The Chief of Staff will work closely with the company's CEO and leadership team to provide operational and strategic support.

Your responsibilities will touch most parts of the company and will involve closely supporting across a range of areas, including but not limited to:

• Designing and building company functions and post-sales operations
• Identifying user needs and translating business goals into product opportunities
• Collaborating with product and founder to incorporate user and customer feedback
• Commercial and go-to-market strategy
• Leading special projects as directed by the executive team
• Building company culture and processes
• CEO support (e.g., investor relations, board meeting preparation)
• Driving towards KPIs and measuring team performance

Qualifications

• Has Olympic drive, with "full-company" ownership and entrepreneurship
• Enjoys quickly converting ambiguity into structure and action
• Low ego, deeply curious, and a quick learner
• 2+ years at a top-tier management consulting firm, high-growth startup, IB/PE, or similar experiences
• Based in New York and excited to work closely with the CEO
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills and attitude
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
• Knowledge of the tech industry and startup environment is preferred
• Bonus: entrepreneurial experience (or want to prepare for your venture eventually)
