Summary

As the Chief of Staff for Bamboo Health, you'll be an integral part of the executive leadership team, supporting the team, ensuring the coordination and success of cross-functional initiatives, and leading special initiatives and projects for the CEO. You'll be a thought partner to the CEO of Bamboo Health and will play a key leadership role in partnering with the department heads to drive forward the CEO’s and business’s priorities in strategy, product, operations, and all other areas.

You will have an unmatched experience in the strategy and operations of the business at the highest level, with visibility to Board level activities and to the priorities in every area of the business. It is anticipated that you will learn the business and its effective operations and then move into a leadership role of a key business area or on to a new venture. This role has the potential to be a significant accelerator in a talented person’s career.

You’ll report directly to the CEO of Bamboo Health and play an essential role in achieving our mission of improving care quality and lowering costs through a combination of network, analytics, workflows and services.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead special projects and initiatives for the CEO.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy, Marketing, and Finance teams to lead the annual strategic planning process.
  • Lead and collaborate with department heads to translate strategy into action through discrete initiatives and through leading the company’s OKR process.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Finance teams to drive M&A strategy and execution.
  • Ensure CEO’s vision and priorities are being properly executed throughout the organization.
  • Lead core operations/business cadence, including the development and ongoing measurement of team OKRs. Monitor key business metrics and flag areas of concern.
  • Seek areas for improvement and innovation through collaboration with department heads in order to make the overall business run more smoothly and drive growth.
  • Ensure that the CEO of Bamboo Health is prepared for key meetings and events, distilling and cascading core tenets of our strategy for senior leadership, the board of directors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and follow-up on action items for internal and external meetings with the leadership team and board of directors.
  • Assist with communications between and from the leadership to the wider team.
  • Communicate with investors while helping to prepare board decks, investment decks, executive presentations and other high-value collateral.
  • In coordination with the CEO’s EA, manage the CEO’s schedule to maximize his/her time and impact with clients, leadership team colleagues and the employee community.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, healthcare, or enterprise software company operations.
  • Strategic thinking – demonstrated mindset for strategic thinking, bringing structure to ambiguity, and the ability to work closely with, advise, and lead leadership groups in strategic and special initiatives.
  • Influence without authority – possess strategic change management experience and the ability to drive change through influence.
  • Strategic operations skills – ability to drive complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Strong communicator – both written and verbal with proven ability to influence others; previous experience with board & executive communications a plus.
  • Experience leading partnerships with senior management teams and across multiple levels and functions.
  • Ability to thrive in an action-oriented, fast paced, dynamic work environment.
