Chief of Staff
Position Summary
The Chief of Staff (CoS) will work directly with the President & CEO of TCW and the senior leadership team in the firm. The CoS will be responsible for ensuring that the CEO is able to execute their strategic vision for the firm by managing and coordinating the activities of the executive office. This includes ensuring effective communication and coordination across the organization, identifying and addressing critical business issues, and supporting the execution of critical projects to help drive forward key strategic initiatives.
Essential Duties
Strategy & Planning Support
- Assist the CEO in developing and implementing the firm’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the CEO's vision and objectives
- Help monitor progress against the strategic plan and provide regular updates to the CEO and executive team
- Conduct research and analysis to support the CEO in identifying new growth opportunities
Business Operations Support
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across the organization, both internally and with external stakeholders
- Identify and address critical business issues in a timely and effective manner
- Support the execution of various key strategic initiatives, working collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure that the company's talent strategy is aligned with the CEO's vision and objectives
- Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team on initiatives to foster a strong culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the organization
Management of the CEO’s Office
- Partner with CEO’s Executive Assistant to manage the CEO's schedule and ensure the CEO is well-prepared for all meetings and engagements
- Provide high-level support on a range of projects and initiatives, as directed by CEO and the executive team
- Represent the CEO at internal and external meetings as required
- Write and prepare talking points for CEO’s media appearances, presentations, and other public speaking engagements
- Coordinate with external communications teams to ensure that messaging is consistent and aligned with the firm’s overall strategy
- Help foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in leading or managing cross-functional projects
- 2+ years of experience in asset management or related industry, with a track record of working with or supporting senior leaders and/or company executives
- Strong proficiency with MS Office; ability to learn new systems quickly

Estimated Compensation
Base Salary:Â For CA based position, the base salary range is $115k - $145k. This is an anticipated range only.
Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
