Reduce Basebrands, based out of Atlanta, Georgia is actively searching for a Chief of Staff (COS) reporting directly to the President. This is an exciting position with high visibility and will contribute directly to the success of the organization.

Successful candidates will be a “jack of all trades” and will act as the “gatekeeper” for the President. This individual will handle the day-to-day issues that prevent the President from growing the business. A successful COS will allow the President to work “on” his business instead of “in” his business. This will allow the company to grow strategically while minimizing the obstacles and noise along the way.

This individual will serve alongside the company executive team working strategically on company initiatives and success.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

● Bachelor’s Degree in business management, corporate communications, psychology, or related field

● Six to ten years of business experience managing multiple functions and departments

● Four to eight years of operations, management, or project management experience

● Experience in people development and human resources management

● Excellent communicator with individuals at all levels of the organization; exhibiting strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills

● Highly organized with keen attention to details and time management skills

● Demonstrated project management skills

● Experience managing multiple activities in all departments within an organization

● Critical thinking, quick decision-making skills and the ability be proactive and when needed to put out fires as they surface

● Proven leadership skills working with all levels within the organization

● Strong verbal and written communications skills.

● Ability to grasp and understand all business standards

● Experience in policy development

● Adaptable and flexible in routine with ability to move from one urgent issue to the next without losing momentum

● Experience hiring, training, mentoring, counseling, and developing people and teams at all levels

● Strong listening skills with the ability to comprehend and respond to numerous daily issues and address accordingly

● Ability to consider the needs of the entire enterprise instead of just one entity or department

● Ability to engage the leadership team and key stakeholders to the broader organization

● Ability to grasp and manage special projects

● Ability to make important plans, generate ideas, mitigate issues

● Strategic planning experience

● Innovative and creative in approach and thinking

● Experience working with and alongside leadership teams at Director level and above
