We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to help our day-to-day operations better align with our business strategies/strategic goals. You will play a key role in Terminus’ growth by working in collaboration with and influencing stakeholders across multiple key areas of the business and helping to scale our business operations team as we grow. The role will be responsible for generating and analyzing insights to optimize existing business processes and support executive-level decision making. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement across the business and driving cross-functional projects to implement solutions. This role will be tasked with ensuring our business data and reporting needs are met, backed by a strong understanding of our financial model, revenue management approach, and cross-functional initiatives.
This position requires a self-starter who can work comfortably across multiple functions in a rapidly changing environment.
This position reports to the Chief of Staff, SVP of Business Operations.
- Improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization’s strategic goals- Drive complete and timely execution of strategic initiatives and projects through effective monitoring, management, and milestone reporting- Analyze data and provide key business insights to assist the organization in improving productivity and overall performance; Partner closely with our finance and revenue operations teams- Compile data and information from multiple functions to help create and maintain functional health scorecard that provides a holistic picture of company operations tied to core business metrics- Responsible for interpreting data from various departments, taking into account the needs of external / internal stakeholders and rolling out a plan of action- Create business presentations to support ongoing business rhythms and communications - Manage calendar of business rhythms to mirror our strategic priorities and foster employee engagement; ensure we take a proactive approach in organizational planning - Develop program-level communications to senior leadership, employees, and/or specific project teams to ensure understanding of requirements and expectations for program or project compliance- Play an active role in change management; Drive faster adoption, greater utilization, and higher proficiency regarding the changes impacting employees in order to achieve business objectives- Establish cadence of meetings and oversight to identify and escalate critical business issues and develop and/or recommend appropriate actions that support our developing project management process- Follow up with and facilitate connections between various department leaders to ensure proper execution of cross-functional initiatives and top priorities towards achieving our company goals- Work closely with SVP of Business Operations to organize and facilitate strategic planning and quarterly business reviews with our executive and senior leadership team
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting or related subject; Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred- Minimum of two (2) years experience within Business Operations, Project Management, or Management Consulting - Experience in the SaaS industry strongly preferred- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus- Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness or operations management implementing best practices- Strong analytical skills and business acumen with the demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects independently end-to-end- Experience partnering closely with multiple business functions and establishing relationships with senior and executive leadership- Ability to both think strategically and act expeditiously in a fast-paced environment - Passionate about “connecting the dots” and creative problem-solving- Strong Excel or Google Sheets knowledge and experience- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
