ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a self-starter to ramp up our Business Operations & Strategy function, providing business critical insights & leading strategic research, ensuring cross-functional alignment of Company goals and OKRs, and helping teams drive key partnerships and initiatives forward. You will be focused on aligning company priorities with effective day-to-day operations and help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As our Business Operations & Strategy Associate, you will report to our Chief Growth Officer and support our leadership team across Customer Success, Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing to drive RADAR’s cross-functional strategic projects, both internally and externally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Insights & Research - Own and lead strategic research across our market and competitive set to help RADAR refine our pricing, positioning, products, feature sets, customer growth strategy, and more.
  • Strategic Projects - Research, ideate and execute core strategic projects to help position Radar as the leading retail tech and location platform and help funnel innovative product/platform feature pipelines & new business opportunities to our CGO, CTO and larger organization.
  • Business Development & Partnerships - Drive all business development & partnerships necessary across industry experts & consultancies (i.e. McKinsey, Bain, Gartner, PSFK), retail customers, and new technology & integration partners (POS/CRM/Inventory/Payment providers, implementation vendors, etc.)
  • Business Operations - Implement best-in-class business operations practices & systems across OKRs, KPIs, growth reporting, internal communications & information sharing (Notion/Wiki), and more.
  • Growth Strategy: Review monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue plans & company KPIs to prioritize strategic initiatives that will continue to drive our growth and customer base.
  • Monthly Growth & Ops Updates - Help deliver monthly investor updates with our CEO, CGO & Head of Finance to showcase Radar’s growth and strategy over time. Help manage our investor CRM.
  • Company-Wide Meetings - Help coordinate annual full-company strategic off-sites, quarterly advisory board meetings, and monthly All Hands meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration
  • 5+ years experience in retail or retail-consulting, business operations, strategy, and/or tech consulting roles with a focus on driving rapid growth; retail/tech start-up experience a plus
  • Exemplary analytical & quantitative mind
  • Visionary grasp of the tech and retail sectors
  • Superior communication skills -- including verbal, written, and presentational
  • Personable and innate ability to quickly build trust & foster executive relationships
  • Extremely organized and able to multitask without letting things slip through the cracks
  • Ability to simplify complex cross functional projects and strategies into executable plans
  • Self-starter with a positive & can-do attitude
  • Strong leadership skills
