aim to help this person get small wins
As a Chief, aim to level-set with the new executive as soon as you can. Ideally learn more why they got hired and what their 30-60-90 day roadmap looks like
try to create User Manuals and have conversations about them, and also revisit them often (i.e. quarterly)
